The goal was to standardize our Model-Based Development (MBD) practices and optimize how we transition from virtual models to testing environments.

One principle guided the session:

Consistency is the foundation of quality.

We are focused not only on building complex control systems, but on ensuring every model is scalable, traceable, and fully compliant with automotive safety standards.

During the summit, we discussed our current simulation workflows. We shared what works best in MATLAB/Simulink architecture, while also identifying the bottlenecks our engineers face during model integration. Automated testing, stricter version control, and early-stage debugging stood out as key themes.

We also focused on the handover between function development and validation teams. Creating a seamless, error-free bridge from MiL (Model-in-the-Loop) to HiL testing was an important part of the discussion.

This summit was an important step for our engineering culture.

It helped us eliminate redundancies, elevate our coding standards, and build a more unified approach to system integration.

The standards are set.
